Hello! We are 'Diva Plastic Surgery,' dedicated to helping you achieve a sophisticated image by addressing bulbous nose concerns!
Most people form an impression of someone's demeanor based on their first glance.
However, a wide alar and a blunt nasal tip, often referred to as a 'bulbous nose,' can create an unsophisticated image,
leading to various appearance-related complexes. Consequently, many individuals have recently been exploring
bulbous nose rhinoplasty to address these concerns.
For such individuals, Diva Plastic Surgery performs alar reduction and bulbous nose rhinoplasty together to deliver more satisfying results and help achieve a sophisticated image.
Most importantly, we are gaining attention for providing customized solutions tailored to each individual's specific nasal concerns. Thanks to this expertise, Diva Plastic Surgery even conducted an interview with the media outlet 'The Leader.'
So, what did our head director, Director Kim Jong-myung,
discuss in his interview with The Leader?
Let's find out through the news article below!
With the government's blind hiring policy, the weight given to direct interviews in determining employment has increased. Consequently, there's a growing interest among job seekers in 'appearance as a qualification,' and the demand for plastic surgery to improve one's impression is also on the rise.
Indeed, a survey conducted by a well-known job portal site among 1,113 job seekers revealed that 73.5% of respondents consistently manage their appearance for interviews, solidifying 'appearance as a qualification' as another important aspect of job seeking.
In particular, a 'bulbous nose' – characterized by a blunt nasal tip and wide or flared nostrils – is often perceived as creating a stuffy and unsophisticated impression. This has led to an increasing number of people seeking bulbous nose rhinoplasty to improve their appearance.
However, plastic surgeons advise that since bulbous nose and alar reduction surgeries are directly related to the respiratory system, it is crucial to choose a hospital with accurate medical knowledge and meticulous surgical procedures to prevent side effects such as inflammation, bleeding, damage, or an unnatural appearance.
Bulbous nose rhinoplasty and alar reduction surgery are procedures that create a sharper nasal tip by gathering the cartilage at the tip of the nose and removing fat, or by inserting implants using autologous tissue. Even if nose shapes appear similar, detailed diagnosis reveals individual differences, making it essential to accurately identify these distinctions and perform a 1:1 customized surgery for the best results.
Regarding this, Director Kim Jong-myung of Diva Plastic Surgery in Sinsa-dong, widely known as the brother of singer Kim Jong-kook, advised, ‘If the alar cartilage forming the nasal tip is large or spread out, a method of incising inside the nose, refining the cartilage to create a prominent nose, or if there is a lot of subcutaneous fat and thick skin tissue at the nasal tip, a method of removing fat tissue should be discussed and performed, tailored to each individual.’
Director Kim further added, ‘Since the nose occupies the center of the face, even a slight change can alter the entire face, making the medical team's experience and expertise crucial. To ensure that each patient achieves the highest satisfaction, we operate on only three patients per day, as dealing with too many patients might compromise concentration and trustworthiness.’
